By: Zane Gonzalez @ZaneGonzo36 KOKOMO, Ind. – The Titans (0-3) wrapped up their series with IU Kokomo (3-4) with a doubleheader on Sunday. They dropped game one 2-3 and game two 10-17. Sophomore Andy Ross started the first game for the Titans, giving them a strong outing on the mound, exiting the game with a 2-1 lead. Ross ended up throwing 4 1/3 innings, allowing one run on six hits while striking out two. Ross was relieved by Senior Zane Gonzalez in the fifth inning with a runner on. Gonzalez struck out two batters to end the inning but couldn’t hold off the Cougars in the sixth, allowing two runs and losing the lead. Gonzalez finished with 1 2/3 innings, allowing two runs on two hits, while striking out three and receiving the loss. At the plate the Titans had 5 hits and got some timely knocks from Sophomore’s Demeris Barlow and Jake Wilburn.
